PPC, is it really worth it?

Hi,

I am wondering about ppc advertisement. I have had very little luck with it, spending $50 here and $50 there, to get plenty of visitors, but no revenue. Does anyone have some ideas on how to do ppc better? Also, maybe it is something with my website. If you want to look it over, neorunner.com is my site.

IMO, ppc is a total scam...
