I REALLY NEED MORE TRAFFIC TO MY SITE!

Hi everyone!
I have been reading the posts on this forum about websites actually getting 500-1,000 visitors daily. I would love that kind of traffic to come to my site. I have mostly posted on craigslist, a few psychic directories, regular directories and I probably get about 10 visitors a day . I've tried the cheap way out and I think I need to be doing something different. HELPPPPP MEEEEEEE!

Take a look at the website review forum and post three helpful comments. Then you should be able to post your website and ask the ozzuer's what they think. It may help if we can see your site. REMEMBER follow the rules or they will not let you post your site.

Thanks for the advice. However, I've already done that yesterday and I already have reviews for my site by a couple of people here. To start getting more hits you must first know the principles of good website design.

You have to start with keyword research. What kind of keywords are actually used by people who are searching sites in your category. You should not aim for the top keywords. Start with '3 word keywords' such as 'Free Tarrot reading'. Overture has a free keyword suggestion tool at http://inventory.overture.com

Once you have youe keywords ready, you should have a good content to match the keywords in your site. Try to have at least 10 keyword stuffed pages - but in natural language.

Then create proper metatags for your homepage. There are many metatag analyser tools available on the net.

Also have some freebie to offer on your website. Then you can send your article or Press release to many directories. Soon your website will be crawled by search engine spiders. And you will start getting traffic. And yes, avoid free domains. Investment in a good domain and hosting pays off soon. Good luck !

Actually the colors of site are not so cool. Please make your site up again and try some free host without any ads.

If you really want to work on SEO with your site, you need to get your own domain and get rid of the sub-domain you currently have.

when you`ll have that traffic ... if you have it, people will go to your free subdomain, not your domain . So you will have to do the same work again

Nowadays buying a domain doen't cost that much. i would rather you buy a domain while researching as the domain you bought could work directly with SEO and could in fact would probably bring a significant amount of traffic if you do it the right way.

I think ppl woud also remember a domain more than a sub domain.

yep, I learned this the hard way, there are some free hosts that are willing to host domains so you don't have to worry about your hosting, but the domain is important since that will be your "identity"

Seriously though, you need to redesign your site and get your own domain name as someone suggested.

Also, your website does not have any useful information and the topic of your website is not too popular. Very few people believe in psychics and very few people actually go only looking for online psychics.

I never thought I would one day say that to a "psychic": best of luck! You'll need lots of it to get traffic.

Sometimes you gotta break down and buy advertising too, including press releases and paid links.

Boy are you mistaken! I know a guy that makes at least $400 bucks a day and he works on someone elses website! Their is a big market for this service just like their is a big market for porn. Even though I own my own website, I currently work at another website and receive a decent amount of calls. However, check it out! You will be surprised!
