I've chatted with engineseek.com and the chat agent told me that it will take about 4-8 weeks to get listed on the serch engines  Isn't Their a faster way to get listed? This is crazy. It's $25 monthly for their services( which is fine). However, by the time I get listed, I would've been giving them 2 months upfront before ever seeing any results. Does anyone have any better options that I can probably use? :dollar:

I need cash and fast! I have to get more hits on my website!

Digging for gold out of the web takes time, unless of course you hit the mother load with the first swing of your pick. If you need money in a hurry you could sell your old stuff on ebay. Most everything moves their if at the right price. That is the fastest way to make money I know of.

When you say 4-8 weeks, do you mean to get indexed?...if so, just getting indexed is not going to get you traffic. If you get some good links pointing to your site, you can get indexed in MSN, Yahoo, and Google within weeks. To get good positioning your looking at months to years, depending on the industry your in.

Now you need to do some keyword research to see what people are searching for that: http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchi ... uggestion/

Then you need to optimize your pages. For example, the homepage's HTML title should not be "Home", it should be a competitive keyword phrase you want to rank for.

Hope this helps...
