Kodak is nice, but you are paying for the name. The "best" digital camera out there are some of the 1,500 dollar 6+MP, SLR digitals. It all depends on what you are doing with it, from the stats below it looks like your aperture is a little small, only 2.8-5.1, which means your field of view isn't the greatest, my olympus goes from 2.8 to 11, a much deeper field of view.

It really is dependent on what you want to do with it.

it depands on how much you pay for it . This thread is quite old. I assume Cuerock has bought or rejected it.

Well the question is do you want a point and shoot camera or an SLR. if your looking for something with an nice ZOOM...i would recommend the Canon S3IS..as it has the image stabilizer and a nice 12x zoom...a nice twist 2 inch LCD screen with a viewfinder just in case the sun in your way. 6 megapixel . 399.99 at any Ritz Camera.

The next option i would choose is the Nikon S4..its got a unique design with a twist lense including a 10x optical zoom. 6 megapixels with a nice macro feature.. the only problem is it doesn't have a viewfinder...when the sun is in the way of the lcd screen...u can't see what your taking pictures of. And whats best about nikon...automatic Red Eye fix..not red eye reduce. Awesome
=]

Personally i think Kodak sucks. Great printing paper..but crappy cameras. Its kodak easyshare..for the novice.
Sony is too pricey.
I prefer Canon or.. Nikon

I own a 20D and I love it. As far as point and shoots go I have been looking at Casio's Exilims. They have models up to 10mp. I agree with Riptcage on Kodak though I am not too impressed with their digitals. Even the new compact with both a regular and wideangle lens.

casio is good for high quality video... and the best shot feature...other then that..other cameras go up to 10 megapixels as well...but u might as well get a 6 or 8 megapixel if ur not gonna print more then 20x30 haha
