Hey everyone.
Well, im still half a student and using a manual SLR is killing me! Been checking review sites for cheap but quality DSLR's and i've settled for the sony a200. Been checking various sites and for the price it is the best camera in its class..

Well, just thought I'd yell w00h000 at everyone! will finally get some pictures on here!

But it uses the old minolta a mounting... Now peeps, I have a bunch of old lenses that were handed down to me. Could anyone tell me if any of these are any good? or worth selling?

Can't tell you about the lenses you listed.

But I can say I have the Sony a350 and a couple older Minolta lenses and I absolutely love it! A few Canon and Nikon users have turned their noses up at it, but I love it. Looking at upgrading to an a700. Just invest in some nice glass and a flash (if you are going to need one) and you'll be fine!

Every time I read these kinds of posts, I get jealous... I've always wanted a good camera and a good teacher

Can't tell you much about those Vivitar lenses, but I sure would love to get my hands on that 135mm :D Sounds great for portrait work (not that I do much of that anyway).

#3 is a filter. :)
