It is possible, it all depends on the photo and how it may appear in a thumnail and what tags you have given it. Also which groups you have added it to etc etc.

I don't think i have a 2000 view photo, but there are a few with several hundred views in my flickr.

Thanks, Craig..

No, I didn't tag it or added it to any group. That's what made it suspiciously good. Besides, none has favorite-ed it, and I have not even viewed it when I'm not logged in. . .

I'm just going to leave it without adding in to any group(s) or tag(s).

Cuz it was taken recent on Oct this year (2009). Within 2 months that was a high shooting views. In a day, I have additional 200 views I keep track since last night. Wow, what should I do to make it even more viewable??

:P

I don't have description for this photo. The title is just a 5 words explanation.

//letting myself loose, started tagging and grouping now..

Is the photo with that many views one of the ones that you posted at OZZU? I recognized several that you posted here. If it's one of them then 2000 views wouldn't surprise me at all.

Mark, it's the latest self-portrait.

:P

I really didn't expect it to be that way... and you have given me ideas on how to improve that which I bookmarked that thread.

// hmmm thinking that it may hit 3000 by Wednesday? ?

* noticed that I just started playing with the tags and groups today...(which is after 2570 views...)

Actually I do have a question about this initially. How does it appear if your photo is not tagged and added into any groups. And there were 2000 clicks, was it somewhere we see at the bottom:

Explore

Everyone uploads

Hi guys sorry I ain't bragging. I'm curious as how the interestingness algorithm works, it seems awesome. No-one knows it?

The people rate it?

The algorithm does it?

I have my own website but I'm thinking to use Flirk and share photos in order to maybe increase visits.

It is that make sense for you?

It is a good strategy?

Yes, very good strategy.

Earlier on this year i went through a phase of submitting photographs onto it and organising them to groups and tagging them. Some of them have recieved some good comments from individuals who i don't know from around the world. If you are a good photographer and you want your work seen then submit your photos, tag them and submit to groups that are appropriate to the photograph you are taken and you will recieve interest.

1) photoforum (is a forum like this)

2) photowebcomunity (bounch of boring social things plus forum)

3) photosharing like Flirk (make a profile and share photo)

Submitting to Groups and Tagging your photos meant by SB is something you can do in Flickr. I would recommend trying Flickr? because it can be really organized and like some people as SB said, commented on your photos and it is really nice to see their own photography works as well. When we compare with each other, we see we have different art views in our unique lives, we feel we have so much to present differently.
