Sorry Breeze the film camera is a EOS 500.

My step mum has one of those - it's sitting next to me right now :D

She's one of those types that forked out the money for a decent SLR camera but only takes pics of the kids and candid shots of lizards on rocks.

Well I ended up canceling my order with that place because I found out that the camera is imported from China (no thanks) so I've been searching ebay AGAIN for a bargain, and I am THRILLED to say I just picked up a Canon EOS350D with a standard 18-55m Lens, and a memory card for the bargain price of just $499. It needs a new battery, thats the only thing I need to get for it.

I also won a film SLR camera, a Canon EOS 500 with a 35-80mm lens, for 50 bucks! So I have 2 lenses and 2 cameras now haha!

Plus I am bidding on an EOS 5000, for the simple fact it has some cool lenses with it. I have noticed buying SLR's wit lenses beats trying to outbid people for a good price on a single lens. So I will more then likely have 2 film SLR's, BUT.. I can always re ebay one of them lol.

Not bad. It is possible that your two camera lenses you'll have with the film and digi will probably work on the other camera. My standard lens(not exactly standard, but similar) i got with my film works on my Digital. Some Canon lenses won't, so you might not have luck with that.

What size of memory did you get with the EOS 350d?
