This is a light on our porch. It isn't really that old though. hehe.

Might be better cropped more towards the bottom - the loss of detail in the upper shadows is making me curious
That may just be me, though

Otherwise, I like the natural detail in the wood siding.

I had to take a second look when you said that. I mean, I guess I can understand that it's stone, but it really looks like an old, lacquered wood cabin.

No way about the crop. I love the negative space and rooted framing to the bottom. The darkness at the top provides the perfect duality to the light itself, the shadows it casts onto the "wood," and the details therein. Perfect exposure too.

Nice work making something so common seem so interesting!
