My friend was doing her art project at university here in England, I offered to give her a hand with a few of the pics. In between her set pieces, I had a bit of a play :D

her project was basically LED lit white balloons in trees, then using a decent camera taking night long exposure shots.

I love this one, absolutely pitch black, 308 exposure time, the colour came from nowhere. As you can see, the LED lit balloons are hung swinging in the tree

an LED balloon burst... so my pal had a go at standing to his back to the camera, and waving the led over the front of his body, leaving his outline.

This was 3 balloons in the tree, then my pal walked around the back with an LED waving it around.

and finally, my one bit of fun!

no real editing to any of these, a touch of noise reduction but no mounting or framing as im lazy.... definately going to go out and do more experiments! Enjoy

When i got my first DSLR camera i spent hours doing light exposure shots. They are so simple to do yet so fun and with it being dark by 6pm now there is plenty of time to do that kinda stuff.

I wish i hadn't sold my DSLR though because i'd like nothing more than to spend time doing stuff like that again.

Good photos nucleo!
