Even a worn down garage can be pretty given the right setting.

Yeah, really nice colours in this.

Is this a recent photo? did you not use this or a photo like this in a competition years ago? It's very impressive, really good framing and colours.



(just an off topic observation, i see the Aussies spell colour with the 'u' also)

Wow, I like it. Great photo with a great ugly thing in a pretty spot making the uglu thing look decent. Exactly how many years of photographing experience did you have on it in US of A :lol:

Well, I took a photography course in college back in 1978, but since then just basically an amateur. Always enjoyed it though, but nothing more than an off and on hobby. One tip I can give is only display your best work (unless you're actually trying to learn a technique or something). It helps people perceive you as being better than you actually are. For every picture I post you can be sure there are 20 other bad ones that you'll never see *lol.

One of the things i learned in my course in Photography last year is on a 36exp film you'd be lucky if more than a couple of photos are worth using. To go and take a whole film of decent photos would be one heck of an achievement.

Alright, I'll take that tip to account and attempt some photography some time soon. I didn't have any classes so they may suck... I'll try to pick out the best one though
