Even a worn down garage can be pretty given the right setting.

Yeah, really nice colours in this.

Is this a recent photo? did you not use this or a photo like this in a competition years ago? It's very impressive, really good framing and colours.

(just an off topic observation, i see the Aussies spell colour with the 'u' also)

Wow, I like it. Great photo with a great ugly thing in a pretty spot making the uglu thing look decent. Exactly how many years of photographing experience did you have on it in US of A

Well, I took a photography course in college back in 1978, but since then just basically an amateur. Always enjoyed it though, but nothing more than an off and on hobby. One tip I can give is only display your best work (unless you're actually trying to learn a technique or something). It helps people perceive you as being better than you actually are. For every picture I post you can be sure there are 20 other bad ones that you'll never see *lol.

One of the things i learned in my course in Photography last year is on a 36exp film you'd be lucky if more than a couple of photos are worth using. To go and take a whole film of decent photos would be one heck of an achievement.

Alright, I'll take that tip to account and attempt some photography some time soon. I didn't have any classes so they may suck... I'll try to pick out the best one though

An old barn is not ugly in my opinion ,it reminds me of Baudelaire poetry....I wish I could see more of it,not only the pretty indeed landscape around .
