No real fancy photography tricks here (point and click). Just pretty. Thought I'd share. They stand between 12-15 feet tall.

Nice. All the ones around here have already slumped over and browned. I hoped for a chance to shoot some myself, but I didn't get out of the city in time. :(
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

What kind of trees are those in the background ? They look like Christmas trees. Whatever they are, they offer a unique contrast. Christmas trees and Sunflowers are definitely two things I don't remember seeing together very often, if at all.
Why yes, yes I am.

Well, the actually are (or were at one time) Christmas trees. They're blue spruce. The garden is at my girlfriend's house. In the old days her dad would dig up Christmas trees each year from around the farm. After Christmas, he transplanted them around the house. This was years ago, so now there's about a dozen or so of those blue spruce surrounding the house and the back yard. They all have to be close to 50 feet tall. Gives you an idea how old they are.

Fall is about to come.
