Video not working

I have video player 10, i can watch movies with a DVD disc, but i downloaded a movie and i can hear the voice but no picture, all i get are the visulizations. What do i need to set?

Sounds like you have the right audio codec, but not the right video codec. Do you get any error msgs?

search google for k-lite and download for free. It's a full pack of codecs including windows media player classic, which is fantastically simple and seems to work with just about everything.

the other suggestion i would make is to get vlc player.

I love VLC ... it's amazing ... you can shove a piece of paper with the name of the movie into your CD/DVD-ROM and VLC will play it ... amazing!

lol, that doesn't sound too far from the truth with VLC. That thing will play just about anything.
