Unfortunately Bogey I can't post most of my best ones because they were all originally photos and I really have no idea where the negatives or original photos are. However, I did have the good sense to enlarge them to 28x30 and have them hanging on my walls at home and here in my office. Two are closeups of a brown bear that National Geographic would be proud of and the other two are a sunset over the Smokey Mountains I took when I lived in Asheville, NC.

We got about 10 inches total. Seems like a lot, but I've awakened to 3 feet or more in days gone by. Still for this part of the Northeast, 10 inches is more than usual and enough to make travel risky, especially with all the ice that came with this storm.

The shot above I took just after sunrise yesterday when the storm had passed. This shot was taken at the same time Saturday morning while it was still snowing.

Everytime i see a snowy photo i wish i could be there and see it. I really do want to see snow like that again soon.

Fortunately the UK is getting the same snow storm (as in the same weatherfront) within the next few days combined with the winds from the south. So hopefully by the end of the week i'll have posted some snowy photos too.

Fingers crossed!

Looks like the second image you posted could go on a card. A special card for a special event :)

Great stunning photos :) Thanks for sharing

Beautiful work Mark. Love that blue against the darkened shadow trees, perfectly behind the fresh snow. It provides a really nice contrast and interesting layers to view. In particular, I have to compliment your composition, excellent.

Thanks UNFLUX. Coming from you that means a lot. Last time I heard words even closely resembling "excellent composition" was nearly 28 years ago from my photography professor in college. My only regret with the initial photo was I didn't take the time to move the car back 3 feet. Cropping that would almost be a sin because I'd lose that really nice left pine on the frame.

Here's one from the same day of the storm I think you'd like bro. Old barn and just nature in front of it. And it isn't a black and white photo either. It's just the way the day looked with only a slight auto-level adjustment in PS.

Amazing ATNO. That's a great shot :) I like it... I don't have as much authority as UNFLUX saying this, but I like it :D

Makes me wish I had a camera and some snow storm here

Great shots! :D, I like the first one best, with the sunshine over the snow ;)
I hope it's going to snow here too, the snow storm SB was talking about is getting to the Netherlands too :)
