I've never had the opportunity to work in a dark room. Always wanted to try it, but never had the chance. Pity, too. I've got on old-sk00L Canon SLR that I'd love to still have a reason to drag out every now and then.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

My film body is/was a Pentax K-1000. Very plain-Jane. :)

I just wish I could use those old lenses and tele-converters with my Nikon. :(

I want to have a darkroom of my own in the future ... sharing it with students who turn on the enlarger without the negative holder in it and have music blaring is not the best experience :(

I've got a Minolta Dynax 3, with a 28 - 80mm lens. $40 on eBay :D

That's one of the few things I was the happiest to find - a converter that lets me use my T50 compatible lenses on my Rebel body. My stash isn't much, but it does the job well. :)

Canon 300D, Kit Lens, Nifty Fifty, FD->EF w/AF. Canon '84 Olympic ed. T50, Gemini 80-200/4.5, Gemini 28/2.8, 2X, Soligor 400 6.3 + more.

I haven't been out of college boy mode for long, so when I want some decent zoom, I usually rent a 100-400 L.

Seeing that this is photography, though, it might have something to do with a dark-room light. In that case, my enlarger, trays, beakers, and chems have been packed away in a closet for around 5 years now. :|

wow. I actually remember all that from college 30 years ago. Had to walk through a maze of walls and curtains to make sure real light didn't penetrate.

But the "red light in the window" was ummmm I think .... errrr.... most have figured it out lol.

dM, ship it over to me. I'll use it and always appreciate and love it :)

Ha! It would probably cost me more to ship it than it's worth (Beseler Cadet II). Plus, I've got a couple rolls I never processed that I'm saving for a rainy day. That'll be an expensive rainy day, too. The chems only have a shelf life of about 6 months.

Dang, that's quite a beast of a lens. Thing is monstrous. Carrying that thing around must really suck.
