Adding Meta-Data to a MS-Word Document.

hey there guys,

I have a bit of a curly one for you all...

i have been asked to add a field to MS-Word Documents so that documents may be given a classification, and then searched on by their classification.

I assume it would best to use Meta data, but after a full day of programming in binary am pretty much strapped for brain activity!...

if anyone has any ideas I am all ears....
A working idea even better!!!...

I am not trying to steal code by the way... high level ideas are fine..
I have never been asked to integrate anything with a MS Office document before is all...

My first idea was store the ms-office document as a binary object in a database and just use another field for that record to store the classification.

But like I said... I am all ears to just about anything at this stage.
