shallow question for you, maybe. but i dont understand at all about php.
if nobody answer the question, well, i'm not fine.

i uploaded php file of guestbook, with its data file (i got it from somewhere).
i've tried it on localhost, and it work.
but when i tried it online, it didn't work, and no data recorded from the entry.

my server is apache with php version 4.4.8

can anyone tell me what am i suppose to do to make the guestbook.php work? should i change any default setting?

believe me, i'm totally blank for php things..

thanks in advance.

is this guestbook reading its data from a MySql database on the server ... ? what error messages do you get? what does your code look like?

// isn't it funny that there is a "PHP" image next to this even though mico here is a normal user (no gold etc membership ...)?

Read through the part of the installation instructions where it talks about permissions. Make sure any files or directories it specifies has the permissions noted in the installation manual. Just taking a guess the data file you mentioned would most likely need a permission level of 777 so it is writable by all. Without seeing the instructions or knowing which script you're using don't know how much more I can help.
