ASP ... change a string to a number

Hi, I'm trying to change a string into a number, but I dont know how to .. I've tried using "(int)" like in C, but its not right. Its ASP what I'm using.

Thats how it works in "normal" VB (VB6 or VBA), don't know about VBScript.
