asp.net editor

I am new to asp.net. Any recommendation for good editor???
The editor I am using for asp is dreamwaver. What should I use for asp.net??

I use HTML Kit from Chami and it works just fine: http://www.chami.com/html-kit/

If your serious about learning .NET you should also download the Microsoft .NET Framework software development kit:

If you don't want to get Microsoft Visual Studio .NET then you might want to look at the Web Matrix tool from ASP.Net.

It is a community supported development tool for building ASP.NET Web applications and is a free download. I use it at home to code .net pages with no problems.

still looking for free editor for .net programming.
I have web matrix but it doesn't address errors when you compile it
any suggetions?

Don't create any errors would be my best bet!!!....

(Sorry I don't have a suggestion for you regarding an IDE for ASP.NET that isn;t here already.
I use Dreamweaver MX2004 and Visual Studio .NET)
