Hi guys im writing a batch file and I need it to disable taskmanager.
I have found a way of disabling taskmanager but am unsure how to do so using batch code.

If the value for the following key is set to 0 taskmanager is disabled
If set back to 1 it is enabled.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr

I am able to edit this using regedit but I need to be able to edit it using a batch command.

So dose anyone know the command to change a reg key value ???

Tnx

Ok I figured it out here is the command for disabling taskmanager in a batch file.

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /V DisableTaskMgr /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F

Lol I answered my own post ,that was easier than I though.
Anyways im sure there is someone out there that can make use of this.

Yeah the question is why you would want to do this.

Doesn't sound like something a nice person would do.
