Hi guys,

OutSite-in is an easy and useful Webmaster tool, you can try it for FREE for 30 days: http://www.outsite-in.com/en/download-outsite-in.html

Since the beginning we have been developping OutSite-In in close relation with MySQL and there is no violation of MySQL dual Licensing. I invite you to read the post of Marjorie Toucas, MySQL Corporate Sales Manager on the MySQL website: http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?4,114867,114867 .

I invite you also to read about our special agreement when integrating MySQL commercial licence as an OEM applies: http://www.outsite-in.com/en/outsite-in ... cense.html

Cheers!

This all sounds real dodge.

Sounds like two vedors trying to compete here.

Just as a matter of interest. The more I work with MySQL the more I realise the MAJOR FLAWS it has in terms of suppoting large scale applications.

I would recommend looking into Firebird or PostgreSQL.

Hi,

I highly recommend you to use LitePXP (you can Google it). :D

LitePXP is a completely portable application which includes Apache, MySQL and PHP 5.3. LitePXP will enable you to run your PHP applications directly from a CD/DVD, USB stick or hard disk without any installation. You can use LitePXP to put your PHP website on a CD/DVD to distribute to clients. Your clients need only to insert the CD/DVD. Then LitePXP starts automatically and shows the website's pages from the CD/DVD. Of course, you can also use LitePXP to put your PHP website on a USB flash drive or other portable media for distribution to your clients.

Here are some key features of LitePXP:

* Includes Apache, MySQL, phpMyAdmin and PHP 5.3 with many extensions installed
* Can be run directly from CD-ROM, USB stick or hard disk without installation
* Can be run in the directory with blank spaces in the name
* Can be run in Japanese or other non-English directory
* Apache uses port 81 if the default port 80 is in use
* The default username is root and password is empty in MySQL or phpMyAdmin
* MySQL uses port 3307 if the default port 3306 is in use
* Can be rebranded with your product name, icon and splash image
