Was hoping someone here could possibly help me out ...

I have this .cgi page which carries over a selection to draw the page on the fly,
within it i'm trying to do an include statement to a file which is should then printout as
part of that page.

I can't seem to get it to work,
just ignores it.

... any ideas ?

Are you saying you are using CGI to generate the page. and part of the generated page is an include statement e.g. SSI or PHP include?

If thats the case you can't get it to work, because the server will only parse a page once.
I personally dont know of any method to say generate a php page using CGI and then have the server parse the resultant php code.

Actually I can think of a way but its a bit messy.

Is this what you are getting at. if not more information is required. If it is, my "fix" uses redirects and you will need write access to the server.

Of course your CGI could simply do the include in the first place and avoid all the other mess :)
