CGI script for form

I'm making a form for a website. My problem is i don't know anything about Perl or CGI and I need this type of scritpt so that I can receive the emails.

Here's an email of the situation that I have to work with.

Q - What are the paths to the sendmail and Perl binaries, cgi-bin, and my actual website?

A - The path to Perl 5.6 is /usr/local/bin/perl. The path to sendmail on the server is /usr/lib/sendmail. Your website is located on the server at /www/www.yourdomain.com/www. The actual CGI directory is located one directory up from the web root (/www.www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin)

Q - Can I use formail.pl for receiving emails via a form on my site?

A - Sure, but due to the frequent security risks introduced from using this script it must be named something other than formail.pl (form_mailer.pl, mail_from.pl, etc...).

Q - What type of server platform is my site hosted on?

A - Your Allegiance Telecom hosted website is hosted on the state of the art Unix server running Apache 1.3.x

Better question to ask... Can you run PHP scripts.. Perl/CGI is, in my opinion, passe at this point.
