How can I change the chmod to 0777 through PhP for a folder with subfolders and all it's content!? Or if I set the chmod for the folder with the subfolders all the subfolders will have 0777 permission as well? I did find ftp_chmod(), but that isn't a good idea for my customers, so I would like to know if there is a way to change permission with just the chmod() command. Thanks :)

Firstly, why do you want to do that? It's so open then that anyone with a web browser and internet access can just go view what's in those folders. Did you even try google?

I did try google. I have to inject data in .php files and also upload image files. So I was hopping that someone could tell me how I could change the permission without telling me why it's better to use Mysql instead of just a simple script that copies and writes a few files to a ftp account.
So is there a way to do this with chmod() instead of ftp_chmod()!?
