From you HTML using Javascript you can set the main movie clip to go to any given frame number by using:

PHP Code: [ Select ]

Javascript: movieName.FrameNum = 47;

  1.
  2. Javascript: movieName.FrameNum = 47;
  3.
  4.

so, If I have a button that does this function normaly:

Code: [ Select ]
<a href="index2.php?id=nyheter">Nyheter</a>

I want so when I rollover it with the mouse it should tell menu.fla to go to frame 2.

In the object/embed tag there will be an ID= and a NAME= like so,
Quote:
classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
WIDTH="350" HEIGHT="250" id="tw2" ALIGN="">
EMBED src="tw2.swf" menu=false quality=high devicefont=true bgcolor=#000000 WIDTH="350" HEIGHT="250" NAME="tw2" ALIGN=""
TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /EMBED
OBJECT

This is what _Leo_ is talking about by MovieName.

A mouseOver for the above example add to your link would look like so,
Quote:
<a href="index2.php?id=nyheter" onMouseOver="javascript:movieName.FrameNum =2;">Nyheter</a>
