Hi.

I need some help with regards to the following.

situation:
I am having a search.html form and the search result will be presented by the search.php file. On the search.php file, I have an update button that will direct me to a update.html file to perform my update.

But i would like to do an auto copy-and-paste function, to copy a content (in this case User_ID) from the search.php file and paste it on the update.html file upon the page loads. How should i do it ?

In addition, my search.php do have scenarios where a few search result might be displayed.
example:
-----------------------
User_ID (1)
User_contact (1)
Update button

User_ID (2)
User_Contact (2)
Update button
-----------------------
I want it in a way where the update button under case (1) will copy and paste the User_ID (1) into the directed update.html file. same applies to case (2).

Please help. Thanks :D
