Zope is an open source application server for building content managements, intranets, portals and custom applications. It can be found at Zope.org

I have a friend who has installed this application on an Apache web server running on Linux. He's having trouble getting it to work. I told him the brilliant boys on my favorite web forum would probably have some ideas.

What kind of information would you need me to get from him so that we can get it working. He's trying to create web portals.

If anyone out there could help that would be really great. Thanks

What errors/s is he getting? Specific errors would be helpful.

Thanks, Atno/tw. I apologize, but my friend was too intimidated. He's no longer going to use Zope. He's looking at http://www.phpx.org/ now. If I had known he would have chickened out on me I never would have posted.

I do appreciate your response though.

Is PHPX really that different than PostNuke? It looks like someone swiped PostNuke and just made some tweaks and called it their own, sort of like Xaraya. I'd suggest either Typo3 or PostNuke because they are supported. The others may have some folks working on them, but its probably not hundreds like the main-stream versions.
