file upload to database help

it's opening itself for download for some reason. instead of pulling the database file.

Try putting:
Code: [ Select ]
 
ob_flush();
 
  1.  
  2. ob_flush();
  3.  

after you echo.

Also, what kind of file_type is it? What kind of files are you trying to show? Images? Video? Text? Dynamic? Any?
