Good custom PHP search engine (MySQL)?

I need more than Google-like text results -- instead, I need more like Google Images results (The results need to display a product graphic, price, title, and description)

Is there any freeware program or script out there that can do this?

I wrote one already that SORT OF works, but it's pretty klunky in some areas.

I'd rather not re-invent the wheel if it's been invented already

Google "PHP Spider." You'll likely find something that will crawl and index your pages, and allow them to be searchable.

Well, I found one program like that, but the problem is I'm not running an academic website (with a bunch of articles, text, etc.) but rather an online store.

I need to search description, title, keyword (and other) fields, and -- most importantly -- I need to display the result WAY different than a google search.

I need to display the product's graphic, show a description, price, etc.

Well, you'll need to create links to all of the products (if you don't know what I mean, check out TigerDirect.com) and the spider will crawl them all.

You can likely program the rest into the spider. If not, then you'll have to do it all by hand.
