I know this might sound silly....please forgive on this one

I am not a programmer, but simply a graphic designer, but our programmer left us,and since that, my boss (which also my father) askin me to help about this matter. This company is still looking for the replacement, but we need to fix about this urgent.

Anyway...What i'm tryin to say here, that we're trying to make a database system for our employee. It consist of their data, photos and some other things. I don't know much about PHP and MYSQl, but i'm always ready to learn. If anyone can give me any clue about this, i will be so greatful.

If you do not know MySQL you can google a tutorial, there are plenty on the web. Here is one from a popular website:

First you'll need to access your database and modify it. The best way for you to do so is probably by using:

MySQL Query Browser 1.2

After you are able to access your database (optionally) you could use a DB Design tool like: or

Once your database is created, you can start connecting to it with your PHP scripts and make admin panels and all that fun stuff. You may need to learn how to connect to the MySQL Database with PHP, here is an example I googled: ... tabase.php

If you need to learn PHP there are probably even more tutorials than MySQL out there.

If you have any specific questions about how to store certain data types, etc... just post again here.

I hope that answered your question.

I use the "I'm not a graphic designer, but simply a programmer" excuse. :)
