hello all,

I am a newbie, and i have realized that the webpage i made dosen't display right on other computers. Acutally, the font defaults back to times new roman. I want to have the page display with my chosen font, but i can't seem to make it work. I do know that i can use a font to make a .jpg file for it to display right, but i don't know exactly how to make the .jpg file either, so i am hoping that the gooroos out there might be able to help. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I'm kind of new to web disign, and i'm learning as i go.

Thank you!!

Tom

It really depends what font you are using - if it is a basic font you can set a generic font-family, like sans serif. If it is a fancy font then you can embed it, like joebert said, but this probably isn't a good idea.

Only use an image file if it is for a small area of the page, like buttons or titles. You are better off using a .gif or .png for this. Most graphics software will let save as these file formats using an export tool or something.

hope this helps.

Damn you joebert always one step ahead of me
