Hi there,

i created a chat on http://www.kitesurf.fr

The chat is usefull and i created a tool which make automatic to open a popup whenever the system detects that exist some activity on the chat.

the problem is when a user browse the forum, he may let the popup window open, and let it on the background. If someone use the chat, he won't be alert and won't see the dialogue until he get back on the popup windows.

Can i get some javascript functions which could allow me to hilight or to make blink in the task bar the popup if i use some javascript functions ?

thanks by advance for any tips you could give me

It seems that English isn't your primary language so I had a little trouble understanding what it was you wanted to do, exactly. (Sorry, I'm mono-lingual :( )

If I'm reading this correctly, you want to return focus to a window that was previously 'popped-up' and I believe you can do that with javascript. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer for you, off the top of my head. Hopefully someone in the programming/scripting forum will.

Good luck.

You can use window.focus() to make the window come back to the foreground.
