I need to get someone who visits http://www.designsofmontage.com/ to http://www.designsofmontage.com/wholesale/

I used .htaccess file with this inside:
Code: [ Select ]
Redirect / http://www.designsofmontage.com/wholesale/

and I end up with this when I try to view the page:
Quote:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale
/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/wholesale/
wholesale/wholesale/ on this server.

Anyone see what I am doing wrong?

in httpd.conf you can just add this line for the certain directory and then put the new url (no need to use htaccess):

Redirect old-URL to new-URL
