I am trying to install some asp forums on a friends site. The prob is I dont think his hosting company supports asp. Any other way to get around this? If not I'll just tell him to go back to phpbb or invision.

Here's the general rule. If the host supports PHP, it's probably on a *nix server and doesn't support ASP and vice versa. ASP is a Windows thing. Php is a *nix thing. Although there are workarounds for both, somebody stated in another post, "use the right tool for the job" (well that's not exactly how they said it, but that's what it boils down to).
