Installing Php-Nuke

Ok I got it uploaded but when i go to
http://www.all4actions.com/~ntcss/php/html/install.php
it shows a blank page. and under
Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
$pnconfig['dbtabletype'] = 'MyISAM';

what do it change?

Nothin', you don't need to edit anything in the config file.

I'm not sure why it's just coming up as a blank page though...

It should come up with a neat lil logo, progress bar, an introduction and a "Next" button :)

I'd contact your host and see if there's any problems showing up in the error log.

can you use phpbb along with post nuke or does it have its own message board in it

There is a modified version of phpBB available called PNphpBB, which uses PostNuke's existing user database - although both PostNuke & PNphpBB require some hefty modifications to be completely seamless (mods I'm still figuring out on my own site).

You can install PostNuke & phpBB separately on your own site, but it would require that users register on your site twice - once for the site, once for the forums.

So, you're better going with the PNphpBB module.
