I tried apt-get install php4-gd again on linux the other day, and it worked this time for some strange reason.
I dont know why it didnt work last time i done it.

maybe they updated their version of it or something...

normally I would use YUM to update any of my software, although I am not sure whether it has updates for php as does the apt...

how can i find file php.ini?
i can't find that file in my server.
