I know it's been discussed, I think you might be able to find it by searching "fading links" or something along those lines.

If you view the source you'll see how we did it (I think through an includ js file).

Just save the index or view forum page of ozzu to your harddisk.Then find the fader.js. Now from all your pages that you want links to glow, link to the external file from the header like:
Code: [ Select ]
<script type="text/javascript" src="fader.js"></script>

The javascript is a phpbb hack, freely distributed. I don't think Ozzu would mind you using it.

http://www.ozzu.com/fader.js
Just Downlaod it with that link
then open it with note pad and edit this at the top:

Code: [ Select ]
startColor = "#3300FF";
endColor = "#00ee00";
  1. startColor = "#3300FF";
  2. endColor = "#00ee00";

To the colors you like. ;)

thx .. thats great.

But how do i use this in my phpbb ? and do i have to edit every page ?

i have a dark style on the board and the links already lighten up when you mouseover them .. so i just want to replace that with the fader effekt

In phpbb, just add the external link to the header of

/forum/templates/darkenfrost's_dark_template/overall_header.tpl
