Okay, I really cant put it into words... Basically, some members (including me) logs in and then we are logged out immediately and we have to log in twice before we can access the member area. If you don know what I am talking about, heres the link:

Well, I don't know what you did to phpBB there, lol.. But maybe your cookie domain is wrong? Perhaps your forum, and whatever other script/hack you're using isn't using the same cookie as phpBB?

Axe,

I have the same problem with my board. Sometimes. I can't remember the reference. But I read somewhere about phpbb having this kind of trouble if accessed with a proxy. Could it be that?

Also what is supposed to be the right cookie domain? I left it at default.

I read the article and read even some of the related ones. I did the things specified and I still encounters this problem. Actually, some of my members told me theres no problem with logging in while others are flaming my head off. So, I need you guys to do me another favor, use the test account and then tell me whether theres a login problem... and no, I dont use AOL. Also, if anyone has a solution to this, please tell me... I have been trying to fix this for 2 weeks now..... :(

Silentdreamer,

I logged in fine at first try. Logged out and logged in again. np.

Actually, after reading the security risks involved I don't wanna even try it. So far only a few people complained in my board.

yeah... for some reason, some people can login no problem. But its the others that cant login first try(like me). I really dont know why. I mean, I use some of my schools computer to login and it works fine while the other computers suffers from the login bug :?

I think you should clear your cookies settings. Leave them blank.

At my forums, it works :D
