I was looping for WAMPP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Perl), but I couldn't find a download for one.

If not that, what other server is a good one (other then WAMP)? I'm looking for something with PHP 6 on it (or is PHP 6 a beta release and not the stable real thing release?).

The new beta ZendServer doesn't work because it really slows down my computer...

If PHP6 is just beta and not the stable real thing release, then I'll be fine with PHP5... I don't really know why I need PHP6... really, I don't.

Thanks.

[EDIT:] I went with XAMPP for windows... but if there are other recommendations, I'll be glad to hear them.

I have no intentions of answering that.

Do you want me to smack you now or later? Bogey, I think I know you well enough to know you are quite capable of doing this yourself. Don't get lazy.

Lol alright, but here comes the problem that isn't in the documentations (At least I didn't catch it there yet).

My MySQL port (3306) is blocked. I assume it's because of my previous WAMP installation that I uninstalled, and I guess that it is blocked to that thing.

try 3307 and 3308 respectively. 3306 is default. the other two should work

Thanks port 3307 worked perfectly.

There is one more thing... I'm trying to get my database from my WAMP to my XAMPP... no don't start yelling at me for being lazy... I don't have my WAMP I just have the files that store the information (*.frm) and I can't find where they go to in XAMPP...

... well, I did, but when I dump the database there, it doesn't show in phpMyAdmin, or when I create the database in phpMyAdmin, then I don't see that in the folder...

... that probably signals that I got the wrong folder but... there is no other logical folder, and my.cnf doesn't exist in the C:\xampp\mysql\bin\ folder like it should :(

Alright... I figured out what the problem was with the MySQL... when I uninstalled ZendServer, it failed to uninstall it's MySQL server as well... I uninstalled that and reinstalled XAMPP and MySQL works perfectly now.

The only problem now is that the XAMP MySQL Server can't read the MySQL Database Dump Files of my database files :( :( :(

That is an extreme minus for me :(

If at all possible... how can I open *.frm files and read their contents? Notepad++ shows a bunch of gibberish to me.

Thanks for your help ATNO...
