Hi,

I'm trying to generate a e-mail message (perl + sendmail) that embeds some images (MIME/base64)

I've got a success, but e-mail readers (Outlook, Gmail) require receiver to approve viewing images. Meanwhile, I do receive some e-mails that have images embedded and no action is required from me to view them.

Is there a trick to do this? Can someone point me to an example?

I think my mail behave like zealous describes as well. Especially if someone who I have not have email contact with previously contacts me and sends images. As already said it probably has to do with security. Images has a history of being imbedded with viruses!

I found that gmail automatically approves images if you reply to the person. So, there is no way to show images when no conversation exists, or manual action taken.

Thank you for replies!
