Need help opening gimp download file

Whenever I download something and try to open it when its complete, it gives me window that says "Open with" :x , and in that window there are all my progs and says select one.

I just downloaded GIMP but when it was done it asked me to "Open With" what should i do ? HELP :( :cry:

Hmm... if you downloaded GIMP in a .tar.gz format you will probably need to use something like WinRAR to extract it. I do not know if WinZip extracts .tar.gz files but WinRAR definately does.

In the "Open With" diaload box, there should be an item called "gimp-win-remote".

If that's not there, click "Browse...", go to "C:\Program files\GIMP-2.0\", (or wherever you installed GIMP to), doulbe-click on "bin", and double-click on gimp-win-remote.exe.
