For the past 23 hours, I would learned VB.NET coding and now I am thinking that if I learn this programming language into some advanced level, would this help me in ASP.NET in the future?

Thank you.

ASP.NET uses VB.NET and C# for its server-side languages. Learning either one is a good start, but my preference is toward C#.

This page on W3Schools does a good job of explaining what ASP.NET is and how it's far different what what classic ASP was. Take a look over that and then search Google for "asp.net beginner tutorials", you'll find plenty of them to get you started and to integrate what you already know about VB.NET.
