You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<?php
/*******************************************************

Also, how should the fields look below?
$dbhost = "www.mysite.com"; <<is this correct?
$dbuname = ""; <<I have set this (do I put the _ in the name??
$dbpass = ""; <<I have set this
$dbname = ""; <<I have set this
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";

Thank you for any help... Hooch

P.S I have installed nuke in a test folder. ie w*w.mysite.com/test

I've never used phpNuke, but I would assume that if the user name is two or more words, you should probably underscore the spaces. There's several nuke users around so they should be able to confirm or correct that thought.

Your $dbuname = ""; needs to be exactly the name of the authorized database user to work. If it's not, manually edit and upload the file.

Thanks guys, it's running now.
Thing is it's in spanish...and will not change back to english.
But I'll get it.

Hey, I have a question though. I entered this in a test folder. I already have forums up from a month ago. If I start my nuke in the main folder....where it should be. Will that erase my present phpbb's??

Thanks
