php event script

hello there,

i am in search of a very simple php event script. basically, i want to write manually in a file the texts it should dispay (on another page) depending on the current month.

for example, the main file should be categorized by monthes (january-december). for each month, i write a small text which will be displayed corresponding to the current month. and when the next month arrives, it should change the text automatically which i wrote in the main file for the next month.

the text which should be displayed looks like this:



the year should also be updated automatically to the current year



does anyone know where i could find something like this, or could anyone please help me code it

Ummm if it has to be a text file I would recommend using XML

hello, unfortunately i don't have any coding experience at all if it means starting from scratch. but i do understand ready made codes and know how to modify them to a small extent.
