Post 3+ Months Ago

Hi,

To explain a little about what I have/want to do etc...
We have an Access database that has a quote producing option in it.
It pops up boxes asking to enter certain variables for discounts etc... and another box to search by supplier or * for all. If * is entered, then user can tick a box to include that record in the quote and also next to that tick box, can enter the quantity needed for that item.
It then uses an Access report to collect all these details and export them to Word.

I guess I have a few questions on this.

1. I know its simple to write a form to collect some data, but I get stuck when it comes to adding more than 1 item to a quote, I'm not sure how to go about writing a page than can do this.

2. Assuming I crack Q1, how do I export to Word (possibly using a predefined layout) using the variables that will have been collected? Or is there an easier way to do this.

Hope someone can help :?

Cheers,
Tommy

Could I perhaps add each item 1 at a time and store them in a temporary table for retrieval at a later time. This seems viable to me, but I probably way off?
