I have a question as to why something works, or acts this way: I have an index page for a site, and I include a header, menu, right bar and footer. In the main index page, I will usually open a connection to mysql, and everything works fine, but even if I have a page that doesn't open up a connection to mysql, it still works...And yes, I am closing the link. The reason I am saying this is that I thought it was odd that I included a header and all that other stuff that required mysql, and it still worked if I didn't include a mysql_connect at the top of the including index page...Is something caching? Or am I using global variables in an odd way? Thanks.
