I am using IIS on my computer for learning PHP. The problem is that I have made PHP and HTML pages and after I save them and open and/or refresh them in Internet Explorer [with the http address through my personal web server] they look the same. However when I open the files up from the C:\ drive the changes show up. It's like for some reason IIS doesn't know that the page has changed and so it shows the old version instead. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is just the *.php files that don't show up right except for my 'default.htm' won't update, either. I'm still pretty new to IIS. Any suggestions?

1)try opening your page from the c:/ drive with your browser
2)make some changes in the code to the open page
3)save it back to it's location on c:/drive
4)refresh the page you already have open

should work

I think you're having more of a logic problem here than any sort of incompatability.

Aha! I figured it out...I made a shortcut to the publishing folder and put it on my quicklaunch toolbar, but I accidentally copied and made a new, different folder instead of just pointing to the real one. oops!
