Sorry, I guess I don't understand the question? Where do you get files for php?

Do you mean where do you get files for a forum? or what? If you want a php based forum goto http://www.phpbb.org .

As for "hack"ing them there are lists of hacks on that site which come with easy to follow installation instructions.

Then you don't know how to use Google correctly :)

What forum software do you have? This will allow people to give you more specific help.

If all PHP forum scripts were the same, then there'd only be one of them :)

I don't believe you can do that?

If you own webspace create a file such as test.php and type the lines below.

<!--start-->
<? phpinfo() ?>
<!--end-->

Open this file through your browser. It the browser displays a chart of attributes then your server currently has php installed. If the download manager appears...then you need a new host.

Check out php.net

I prefer tomcat, but it's up to you.

That is a script that they have written.

You will probably have to contact them, or simply read their 'support' page.

You might also have to contact whoever runs http://www.all4actions.org and find out why you're not seeing what you should be.

I cant really help you out, cause what you need to do is indeed get yourself a PHP or other scripting language book.

If you dont want to, get a site like that here
