I am creating a website then i have a registration form for the users to sign up. After filling up all the form and submit it. All the information must be saved in the database and at the same time the users can receive an email to confirm and activate their account. It is the same with registering in a forum.

My problem is that i can't send an email to the users. I can only saved the data in the database. Can somebody help me with the coding? I'm using php. thanks...

A good place to start would be to read up on PHP's mail() function.
