I'm new to RSS hosting...need info regarding how it works, e.g., (1) Is it essentially the same as hosting a website? (2) If a feed is hosted, what happens when a website viewer clicks the RSS button?... (a) does the viewer need a "reader" in order to view and read the contents of a hosted RSS feed?...or (b) does content appear as a list of URLs which can individually be opened in a new HTML window?

Hi are you both doing this for content reasons or you really dont know anything about it. No you shouldn't need a reader.
