pm's script

do anyone know the script to create a similar things as ozzu pm's. i am making a rpg site and want people to receive message from other user in the site.but i dont know how to do it.i want also display a message so people can be notified when they receive a msg. can anyone help me ???

What programmin language? It isn't "too" difficult to do if you already have a user authentication database set up...

well i am working on it, but i don't have time now.so i'll finish it all next year but i want to get this early, anyway i am totaly new at php and the whole site is php stuff so i am working real hard. i know really need u to explain me the whole thing i just want to know which words should i use to look for it.

Try this Google search with the quotes and plus signs:

The basic script flow needs to be the same as a guestbook. Except there would be an extra field in the database "user_id" which would place the user_id (duh!) of the user who the email was sent to. Then you run a query at the pm_check.php or whatever and it looks for all messages to "user_id". Then it displays them.
